The new brand La Madonnina was created according to the same idea that inspired the new Triacca logo, therefore without radically changing the style, but combining in a stylized way the key elements of the historic logos. The historical components of the visual image have been respected, such as the crown belonging to the Madonna, hence the name of La Madonnina Estate, the lines representing the hills of Chianti and the typographical style.
In full respect of the Triacca philosophy, it was therefore decided to continue the tradition, innovating it.
For the new visual identity of Riserva La Madonnina we have therefore focused on historical heraldry, the former advertisements and labels of the past. A real iconographic and visual research that has allowed to identify the most significant references and impact to be reported in the new logo.
THE MEANING OF THE LOGO
The crown
The main inspiration of this new stylistic direction was the crown of an ancient heraldry of La Madonnina, redesigned and evolved in its most formal and conceptual meaning. The crown was the iconic symbol of the first labels La Madonnina, so we decided to keep it through a graphic reinterpretation that respects the identity of the brand. Now the lines are clear and decisive and the shapes tell of the hills and rows of Chianti, in fact, we opted for simple geometries attributable to the previous visual interpretations of the company.
The star
The star in the emblem is a clear visual reference to the new Triacca logo, with the aim of obtaining a graphic coherence between the different brands of the group. An element that is described as “a figuration indicative of the luminous future desired for one’s descent” could certainly not be omitted in the representation of the logos of a family reality as Triacca is.
Typography
The typographical treatment is inspired by the labels of the past, taking up the shapes and the arrangement of the letters of the La Madonnina logo from the 1980s, maintaining the label’s recognizability, but through a modern and elegant style.
The new brand La Madonnina was born from the union of the elements that have characterized the iconography over the years. A fundamental restyle work that will make the historic brand more iconic and effective, so even more recognizable.
